Pakistan – Traditional Reshmi Kebab (Beef Spicy Rolls) With Rogni Naan

Kebab is a meat patty cook on grilling pan. Reshmi kebab is one of the famous and delicious dish in Pakistan. This is very famous Karachi. This dish has a smokey spicy flavor and the texture is very moist this not need any sauce (chutney) because of it’s texture. This is another name of goodness. All the people should try this once in their life. The aroma of this is out-of-the-world. This is a must have on eid-ul-adha (bakra eid). You can serve this yummy dish on any occasion. This appetizing dish will impress your guests. There are many types of kebabas like.

The combination of simple naan and flavorful kebab are the best.The kebab has moist texture and the naan has a little dry texture which goes very well together.Naan is flat bread which is very important for all the meals.This is very light and simple you can eat it alone but almost 90 percent people like to have with kebabs.


  • Beef 1 kg
  • onions (chopped) 2 big
  • oil 5 tbsp
  • salt 1 tbsp
  • red chili powder 2 tsp
  • red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • turmeric 1 tsp
  • coriander 2 tbsp
  • cumin 1 tsp
  • funnel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • green chili 4 (chopped)
  • green coriander 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • lemon juice 2 tbsp

Method of cooking

  • Take a large bowl and add beef, salt, red chili powder, red chili flakes, turmeric, coriander, cumin and funnel seeds and mix well.After mixing keep it aside for 2 hours
  • Now take a pan add add onions, oil, green chili and saute until the green chili are brown and onions are caramelized.
  • Now take the bowl of beef mixture that we prepared and add the onions ans green chili to add and mix well for 5 to 10 minutes, then add lemon juice and green coriander and make a patty.
  • Now take a pan and heat it for 5 minutes now add a little bit of oil into it and then place the patty and fry until dark brown.

Ingredients for making rogni naan

  • plain flour 2 cups
  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • butter 3 tbsp
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • salt 2 pinch
  • milk 6 tbsp
  • water as required

Method of making

  • Take a bowl and add all the ingredients and knead it for 20 minutes until all the things are combined.
  • Now take a tawa or pan and heat it on low flame for 5 minutes while the pan is heating take a small ball of dough and roll it with rolling pin and then place it on the pan and toast on both on sides until golden brown.
