Japan – Kamameshi

Kamameshi is known as Kettle rice because it is a dish of rice cooked in the kettle. The iron pot or kettle is a kitchenware in which this rice dish is cooked with many other elements to be added on. In Japanese, the iron cooking pot is known as KAMA. So Kamameshi names come from the word KAMA. EKIBEN is a similar dish. This is the Lunch box served on the local train of Japan.

Nigeria – Ibaba Soup

Sushi is usually confused with other Japanese dish that is SASHIMI, which is also a Japanese-originated dish of raw meat and just thin slices of meat served with soy sauce. Sushi is originated from the old tradition of Fermentation of rice. The people of Japan MUORMACHI PERIOD, ferment the rice for months and then served it with raw fish. There are different types of sushi served in worldwide with addition of different ingredients, different cooking methods, etc.

Banoffee Pie is another type of delightfully sweet dessert. It is firstly made by a British Chef whose name is Ian Dowding, who firstly discovered this dessert probably in 1971. The word Banoffee has come from two words which are Banana and Toffee

Turkey – Traditional Lahmacun (Flatbread with meat and paste)

Lahmacun is a thin flatbread that has a yummy paste (sauce) and meat on top of it. In Turkey, this is called ”TURKISH PIZZA”. Lahmacun does not have cheese in it like usually normal pizza has cheese in it. This is the most famous street food in Turkey.
