Cameroon – Irish Potatoes and Spicy Mutton Sauce

We never get tired eating. Eating is not like sports that when you feel pain or because of its challenges you stop and say you will try after. Nope. If you don’t eat, you will die. You will not just die immediate, but slowly. It is painful. So eating is normal. God made it like. We need to eat. That is why when you hear of people starving, let’s say in regions of war, assist in anyway because the suffering is really painful. Dying of hunger should never come to your mind. Basically, is only Jesus Christ that can resist that, and he did that for a purpose. After that purpose, he ate something. So basically, food will always be needed by our system.

In this article too, I will love to use the opportunity to thank all farmers. The people who put in their time to make sure that there is constant food supply in the world. Some people will say, “are they not making money from it”? OH yes, but they are still the ones who help to make sure there is food. It is not like they are being forced? It is their choice. So, I thank them. 

Eating food is one thing, eating the right quantity is another and the types of food is also another. So basically, the fact that food is available, doesn’t mean you could eat any and grow healthy. Doctors do help for that and too you can carry out the studies by yourself. 

Today, you will read and know how to prepare spicy Mutton with boiled Irish.  This is an easy meal; it is nutritional and above all delicious. So, take your time to read through and help yourself. 


  • Tomatoes
  • Onions 
  • Maggi 
  • Salt to taste
  • Meat
  • Vegetable oil 
  • Irish Potatoes 
  • Green spices 


  • Slice your meat into large halves. Wash and boil for about 15min. 
  • While your meat is boiling, prepare your spices. Chop your tomatoes and onions and green spices, keep aside. Go check your meat, remove and chop into tiny halves. 
  • Heat up your oil, start by frying your tomatoes, add in your onions, fry until the tomatoes and onions are translucent, then add green spices, allow pot for about minute, then add your meat stock. Allow pot to boil, stir well. Add your meat and stir well. add your maggi and salt to taste. Cover pot. Make sure you don’t add water. Stir well. 
  • Clean your Irish, wash and boil. This should take about 15-20min. Make sure you regulate the water. Serve.
